Roger Kendrick, the founder of Boston Fire Gear is also a Boston Firefighter. He was appointed to the Boston Fire Department in November 2000.
Originally assigned to Engine Company 37 in Mission Hill. After several years on Huntington Ave. Roger transferred to Tower Ladder 3, followed by a stint as the Aide to Division 1.
In November 2014, Roger was promoted to Fire Lieutenant and is now assigned to Engine Co. 39 in Southie.
