The Gerard Dewan Memorial Fund

Gerard Dewan was only 35 years old on September 11, 2001. On that day, he and eleven others from Ladder Company 3 (Battalion 6) in Lower Manhattan were called to duty at the World Trade Center. He was one of the first rescuers to enter the twin towers, but he never made it out.

The Gerard Dewan Memorial Fund was established to keep Gerard's memory alive and to honor his commitment to helping others.
